Working at LA center studios in Downtown LA this week- LOVE THIS PLACE.
Reminds me of the old days when so many of us were centralized in Hollywood, me at Red Car.
The MAD MEN crew who are also here on the lot were having a big celebratory lunch in the cafeteria today. I felt the celebrity shine as I chilled out with my veggie soup.

Dream come true!!!
Busy
I’ve been wall to wall creating films for Mazda, too busy to post much. The work is first class, I’m
looking forward to sharing it with everyone as well as the new NASCAR I shot last month.
Missing doing music projects- looking for a good one to do this winter.
Cheers all.
rambling of 9/11
Hello all, I’m off editing a Mazda spot this week in Orange County CA and thinking a lot about 9/11. I got to go up to the top of then brand spankingĀ new world trade center with my friend Jay as a kid. Jays father worked in one of the buildings and It was an amazing experience for me as a young boy. The local NY television news reported a lot on the new “tallest buildings in the world”, it was just the kind of thing that sparked my imagination. Later as a teen I sometimes went surfing at nearby Sandy Hook. On clear day you could sometimes see the towers in the distance, very cool. Then later in my twenties I shot a video for my band Jolly Ramey in between those two buildingsĀ ( ya its on you tube if you really want to see it -“Happiest Guy” thanks Steve). The next time I really thought of the world trade center was on Sept 11 2001 watching the news in Los Angeles. My cousinĀ Justin was there and missing. Everyone in my family was calling and calling all day, looking for him. He had jumped on the Staten Island ferry in the chaos. It was the last one that ran for weeks and he was unable to call anyone until much later that evening, he slept on the floor of a bar in Saint George because there was no way for him to get home that night but was fine.
I look forward to bringing my daughter to NY someday and showing her where those great towers once stood, they will always be a part of me. My heart goes out to all who lost someone 10 years ago in the attack, Sept 11.
